What a wonderful day!

As much as I would have loved to have been home on Christmas day and how much I missed my family we still had an awesome day! We had a yummy breakfast, sang happy birthday to Jesus, opened a few gift played with them for awhile, then some more and so on. We had so much fun today just hanging, being together and playing with new stuff. Then we had an amazing dinner and dinner time chats :). Tonight we had an rockin game of hide-n-seek and in a big house it can get kinda crazy but alot of fun!! We ended our day with a movie with the older girls. It was such a blessed day and we tried to make the best of being without our whole family. I thanks God for days like this where everyone can just be so enjoyable and just feel so blessed.

Tis the Season...

to remember Jesus Christ and all he gave for us and our children. I look around and the world is full of selfish, greedy, just plain mean people....and I feel so sorry for them. To not know what our Savior did for us and to go through this world alone must be horrifying. I thank God for my husband and my children, what a undeserved blessing. We tried to volunteer at a soup kitchen this Christmas in Toronto and we couldn't find one that wasn't booked!! Which is awesome but kinds stinks for us! One soup kitchen has had 850 volunteers since September!!! Thats amazing! So instead we are going to a retirement home to share a little piece of Christ's love to some lonely people. We have been praying we touch someone! I am so excited for Christmas this year and I have no idea why, we are all alone in Canada!!! I pray that everyones Christmas is blessed and awesome!!! Love to you all!!

Snow, Snow, Snow!!

Wow I knew it was gonna snow alot up here but everyday?? Come on!! The kids are totally restless and spent the day (after we schooled) making forts, castles, hiding from hostile indians, opening orphanages and healing the sick.......all from the family room :) Then we made cookies and watched Wall-e. That is such a cute movie. I find it amazing that you can fall in love with a robot who says one word!! Well I am gonna try to figure out how to put pics of our schoolwork up on here, especially since we are having our Olympics on Saturday!! For those of you who don't know we are studying Ancient Greece and Rome. I don't think any of us find it as interesting as Egypt but we are definitley learning. Egypt was the bomb!! Hope all is well with everyone. xoxo

But we are in Canada now and starting the learn the ropes about the Canadian life :). We have a beautiful, large new house ( which I am in love with ) and are in search of a homeschool group. We have yet to meet any neighbors, although I dont think they speak english anyways I think they speak Chinese. MMM oh well I am determined to make friends!! I miss all of my friends and family back in Williams, AZ....... heres your shout out :) Hopefully i can find the time to update this often!!!
